Write short, simple notes for each question, focusing only on what comes to mind first. Answers should be brief, as they will evolve with changes in your pursuits or direction.

Start by establishing a daily routine to review the SA-EI Action Checklist until completion.

Gather

  • Identify Your Strengths and Weaknesses:
    • Conduct a SWOT analysis to identify your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
    • Reflect on past experiences, successes, and challenges to gain insights into your strengths and weaknesses.

  • Understand Your Values and Motivations:

  • Recognize Your Emotional Triggers:
    • Identify specific events, situations, or people that trigger strong emotional responses in you.
    • Reflect on past experiences where you felt overwhelmed by emotions to pinpoint potential triggers.
    • Keep a journal to track your emotional responses and identify patterns or recurring triggers.

Plan

  • Develop Strategies to Leverage Your Strengths:
    • Identify opportunities to utilize your strengths in your current role or pursue new opportunities.
    • Set goals that align with your strengths and allow you to showcase your talents.
    • Seek out roles or projects that leverage your strengths and minimize the impact of your weaknesses.
  • Create a Plan to Address Your Weaknesses:
    • Prioritize areas for improvement based on your self-assessment and feedback.
    • Identify resources, training, or mentorship opportunities to help you develop in these areas.
    • Set realistic goals and timelines for addressing your weaknesses and track your progress.
  • Develop Coping Mechanisms for Managing Emotional Triggers:
    • Explore various coping mechanisms, such as mindfulness techniques, deep breathing exercises, or physical activity, to manage your emotional responses.
    • Create a plan for how you will respond when faced with emotional triggers, focusing on maintaining composure and responding constructively.
    • Seek support from trusted friends, family members, or professionals if you’re struggling to manage your emotions or triggers.

Execute
